This book introduces many artworks with motif of Tenno (Japan Emperor system), mainly post war (also some cases before World War II and modernization of Japan, and by few Asian artists).
Through the analysis the absolute Japan taboo become clear. The challenge to the taboo is also the untold art activity in Japan. The artworks that make invisible institution visible are also the most fundamental function of contemporary art.
